Statement of Purpose Workshop (featuring special guest, Justin Bracks!)
Justin is a 6th-year graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania, and a special visiting student at Caltech. He joined the GRAD team in the program's second year to design and facilitate a series of essay writing workshops. After two years with GRAD Justin stepped down to become the inaugural chair of the Cal-Bridge program's alumni counsel. The Cal-Bridge scholarship program is a California state-wide professional development scholarship program designed to train students in California's public CSU system to become competitive applicants in STEM graduate programs. Justin now works within Cal-Bridge's leadership in redesigning and facilitating the program's core essay writing workshop series.
